Robert Laarhoven (1964) is living near Amsterdam, and has a technical and medical education. In 1988 he got interested in the story of AIDS dissidents, and since 1992 he is a member of The Group. He was one of the organisers of the first international dissident AIDS symposium, 'AIDS; A Different View', in May that year in Amsterdam, and was kicked out the world AIDS conference, in 1993 in Berlin, and ordered to leave Germany, for distributing dissident information.
